Hi I am Hannie from the Bosveld near Beestekraal, Brits. My husband and me live on a small game farm with no fences around the house ---- so everything that you grow gets eaten by Nyalas and 3 geese and 3 muscovies! which is fantastic to see them around the house.

I made a veggie garden with shade net to keep game and monkeys out. I have been growing veggies in there for the last six months, but now would like to do it in a proper, as near organic, way as possible. Good gardening and growing everybody!

I have extended my veggie garden to my nursery where I grow some indigenous trees. It is also fenced with shade net because of the game that wanders around the house. My herbs and veggies are mostly from seeds that I have planted

I have lots of photos but unfortunately no knowledge to send it to you!! The size of my garden is 72 m2 and we are two in the household that eats from it with lots of visitors over week-ends. My two farm workers and house girl also get some veggies.

I am thoroughly enjoying the course, the course material is super.
