Known as South Africa's Blogging Herb Man, I'm the owner of Bouquet Garni, (South Africa's top potted herb growers), and a director of the SA Herb Academy (South Africa's only online herbology learning centre).

I stay on a smallholding on the outskirts of Pretoria with Teresa, who is still as young and beautiful as she was when we married many, many moons ago. We have two adult sons, the herbs of our life. When I'm not running my businesses, working with herbs, writing or teaching, I like to travel, read, watch birds, go tree spotting, or try out new herb and veggie recipes.

I'm here because I love seeing people start and successfully manage their own food gardens and rediscovering Nature's Little Miracles.

Crops grown include a large selection of herbs, leafy vegetables, root vegetables, fruit vegetables and sweet corn.
