Winning Strategies to Improve
Your Food Garden and Your Planet

"Somewhere there is a map of how it can be done." - Ben Stein

So you want to be a successful food gardener?

You are not alone.

More and more people around the world are using the Go Food Gardening strategies to turn small spaces in their gardens and on their farms into productive food and flavour sources.

Some are motivated by passion, others by principle and still others by pragmatism. We trust that whatever your reasons are, they are good ones too.

Joining this learning program your immediate rewards will be a feeling of achievement, organic herbs and vegetables that burst with flavour and overflow with health enhancing properties, shorter food miles and lower food bills.

Introducing the Go Food Gardening e-Learning Program

To inspire and equip South African food gardeners Bouquet Garni Herbs and the SA Herb Academy developed a practical e-learning program for food gardeners who want to learn how to garden more successfully and expressively.

It is a complete easy-to-follow, practical, food gardening learning program that eliminates guesswork, shortens your learning curve, and ensures success anywhere - a city garden, a small holding, or a small farm.

With this radical e-learning program you learn how to apply natural laws, crop growing success principles and the key food gardening activities to:

  • Make the best of your available growing space, irrespective of its size, your climate and your level of experience.

  • Produce a substantial quantity of organic edible crops.

  • Produce healthy, nutritious and flavoursome crops.

  • Harvest two, three, or more crops from the same area, every growing season.

  • Start with easy-to-grow, high value crops and slowly progress to more difficult crops as your experience and knowledge grows.

  • Minimize your gardening time and effort.

  • Conserve water and minimize weeding time.

  • Lower your food bills.

  • Minimize your food miles.

You'll Get Quick and Consistent Results

My guess is you don't have time to figure out a book or attend a two day workshop. Even if you did, how would you put the information to work? Who will you call when something does not go as planned? Or when a plant turns up its toes and dies?

What you need is a veteran food gardener showing you how to quickly get started and then guiding you week after week so you don't get stalled along the way.

"I am so happy with my progress and the fact that now (as opposed to when I just planted and hoped for the best) I can actually enjoy the fruits of my labour. Family and colleagues have been given samples and hopefully my 3rd planting will be the most successful yet.

My thanks to Di-Di - this experience has been super and I can highly recommend this course to anyone wanting to improve their "small farming" skills. Thanks to everyone in the forum too - even if I have not posted a lot, I have been reading and learning from all of you, your ideas and suggestions will be missed." - Deanne, Roodepoort.
"What fun I have had! I am now on my 3rd succession planting, with only my rocket & basil bolting with this hot weather we have had in the Cape. I have been able to share with a family in need and that has been amazing. Time to plan my winter garden!

Di-Di thank you so much for this amazing course and I hope to be able to go on more courses. Enjoy yourselves and here is to a healthy, cheaper way of eating!" - Fiona, Cape Town.
"Thanks so much for this wonderful opportunity. I loved all the comments from my fellow gardeners. I would definitely recommend this course to anyone interested.

Despite hail, bugs and boisterous dogs I have still managed to produce spinach, beetroot and lettuce for four of us from my door sized patch. There are still brinjals to come and the beans are flowering. The thyme is flourishing and my solitary pepperdew plant (tree) is now about two metres high and full of fruit!! Once again many, many thanks." - Ann, Merrivale.

"I have enjoyed every moment of Go Food Gardening, and although I have been growing veggies for ages, I enjoyed the structured and compact way that this course is presented. It is excellent material, and very good to go through the whole process again from planning to harvesting, and to consolidate and revise one's knowledge about growing food.

The best part was participating in the forum, and sharing ideas with other enthusiastic gardeners. No better way to learn, and to pick up a few new ideas.

This course shows that anybody with even the smallest available space can harvest something that is infinitely better than the stuff you buy.

So GO FOR IT! Do your own thing and spread the word - we need everybody in South Africa planting more food!" - Faan, Boksburg.

A Complete Proven Blueprint

Go Food Gardening gives you all the proven strategies you need to organize and optimize your food garden for maximum returns, so you can enjoy fresh, natural, healthy home-grown food from even the tiniest outdoor area.

Being a practical do-able learning program and not an info-dump the program features a complete, scalable blueprint for a Mini Food Garden measuring about 10 square meters.

Best of all...

You can be anywhere in the world. There are no classes to attend. You simply download your learning material from the password protected website. Print it out and then do the program in the comfort of your garden.

And if you are the social type, there is plenty of voluntary interaction with fellow food gardeners and with your dedicated facilitator in the online course discussion forum.

When you complete this learning program, you'll have the productive herb and vegetable garden you've always dreamed of...

And if you are reading this, you most probably already have all the resources necessary to join this program.

How long will it take?

The program is divided into easily digestible learning units which takes you through each of the Key Food Gardening activities.

Following the activities and one of the blueprints you will be harvesting your first crops within five to seven weeks from starting.

The first four units, orientation, planning, bed preparation and planting will take between 1 and 3 hours each. This will vary according to the size of your garden and to what extent you want to follow the Mini Garden Blueprint.

The last seven units, watering, fertilizing, weeding, harvesting, pest management, etc. are much more leisurely and will only take a few minutes a day or an hour on weekends. Again this might be more if your garden is a lot bigger than the Mini Garden.

To make sure that you've mastered everything and that you can replicate your success your membership is valid for 16 weeks.

The Program Format is Easy to Follow and Implement

This learning program was developed by a team of experienced horticulturists, herb and vegetable growers, and instructional designers using the latest distance learning practices.

Unlike other online programs available on this subject this is not just an e-book labelled as a course.

Go Food Gardening is a fully fledged distance learning program complete with learning outcomes, learning activities, and assignments. These are all designed to help you acquire the necessary know-how and skills to become a successful food gardener.

Apart from your program manual there is an abundance of supporting study material to help you develop into a confident and successful food gardener.
Some of these materials will help you start your garden others, such as The South African Herb Growers Guide (valued at R75), will help you maintain your garden, process your harvest and control pests and diseases.

Program Support

"A single conversation across the table with a wise man is worth a month's study of books." - Chinese Proverb

The program features an Online Learning Forum which is immensely valuable if you are serious about making a success of your food garden.

You also get an experienced course facilitator, a real person with a real food garden, who is only an email or phone call away should you experience any problems with the program material.

And just in case you need to sharpen your study skills there is a special set of Study Skills Resources available from the Online Learning Centre.

We've Made This Program Affordable

From the calls and emails I receive, I know there are thousands of people who really want to make a success of their organic food gardens, but are frustrated because they don't know how to start and how to care for their crops until it is time to harvest them. I think it's time to change that.

That's why I am offering you this program for a lot less than I could. I am convinced that making these winning strategies and skills affordable and accessible is the right thing to do.

To join Go Food Gardening and be a member for 16 weeks is just R347.

This Program is Not for Everyone

This program is not suitable for container food gardens or gardens situated in the Northern Hemisphere.

To join, you must have…

  • A genuine desire to start or improve your own food garden and to grow your own 'farm fresh' herbs and/or vegetables.

  • A willingness to learn and to apply what you've learned to your own food garden.

  • A minimum of about 2 square meters (about the size of a door) garden space to devote to your food garden. This need not all be in one area and it can include the walkways between the growing beds.

There Are Two Versions to Choose From

The program is available in a standard version and a deluxe version.

The standard version includes:

  • Your program manual in Adobe .pdf format.

  • Sixteen weeks access to the Go Food Gardening online learning centre.

  • Sixteen weeks program support.

  • A food garden blueprint, complete with worksheets, which you can adapt to your own needs, install and then cultivate using the key Go Food Gardening activities.

  • An online forum where you can interact with and get help from experienced food gardeners and fellow participants.

  • A complimentary electronic copy of The South African Herb Growers Guide.

The deluxe version includes everything in the standard version plus:

  • Your own food gardening coach who will give you one-on-one coaching with the initial planning of your food garden. Get an experienced coach looking over your plans and guiding you in making the most of your food garden.

  • Your food gardening coach will also give you one-on-one feedback. Each of the lessons has an "assignment" to complete. You can submit these assignments to your coach for feedback to see how you are doing and if you are on the right track.

What Happens If the Program Is Not To Your Liking?

I stand behind this program and I know you'll find that the superior content will meet your expectations. More importantly, you'll see results. That's the real measure of success and that's what you'll get.

However, if you are not 100% satisfied, just let me know within 8 weeks for a full refund. And keep the learning materials free, with my compliments - that way, you risk nothing.

It's that simple. No questions asked. No hassles. No delays.

Fair enough?

Long-Term Benefits

One of the most important benefits you receive from participation in the Go Food Gardening e-Learning Program is the know-how to put crispy fresh high quality garden produce on your own table.

Once you've tasted organic herbs, vegetables and fruit from your own garden you'll know that you never want to go back to being totally dependent on shop bought produce again. Nothing beats knowing that you are making sure your family gets the nutritious meals they deserve whilst saving money on food bills.

So, here's the "pitch" - if you want to become a successful food gardener supplying most of your own organic herbs, vegetables and fruit, and you want a veteran horticulturist to show you exactly how to do it, join me now.
